The trip to the Academy’s medical center was short and a waste of time, Andy thought.
He wasn’t in labor.
And the doctor had this weird thing going on, like she was going to perform some sacred ritual over his belly.
And her hands were cold.

“Jennifer is your regular doctor, I understand.” She smiled as she felt Andy’s tummy. “My name’s Suzan. So I understand you might be in labor. Snake shifter baby?” She glanced at Simon.

“Yes. Andy says his stomach is uncomfortable.”

“It’s just constipation.” Andy rolled his eyes.

“So how long have you had this ‘constipation’?”

“Come on Simon. It’s just a church. There aren’t any people in it right now.”

“I’m a familiar. I’m a snake. There’s this bad press thing about those and churches.”

“Our son is going to be baptized after he's born,” Andy said firmly.

“And what are you going to do if he turns into a snake in the reverend’s hands while he’s doing it?”

“So okay, we’ll practice first. He’ll probably giggle through the whole thing… I hope.”

“We’ve got a pool. How about we practice before he’s born.”

“You just want to get me naked.”

“Ye-es. Anything wrong with that?”

Much later… “We could always wait until he’s older, I suppose. When he has more control over his changing?”

Simon smiled slowly, “I don’t know. This practicing seems good. Might even work. Just takes practice. Lots and lots of practice.”

“Here look at this. Is that not the sexiest thing you’ve seen?”

Andy looked at the color photos. “Seahorses having sex. Personally I think we’re hotter but maybe you haven’t been paying attention to the view in the new mirrored closet doors in our bedroom?”

“You see, with a little magic you could have a pouch like that and give birth to our baby,” Simon continued, “and yes, I have been paying attention to the view in the mirrors.”

“I’m male.”

“So’s the seahorse,” Simon answered.

“I’m male.”

“Your mother would like to have grandbabies.”

“Fuck you, Simon!”

“Yes! Exactly.”

In case you missed this----It's an interesting prompt but probably not for the easily squicked. I anticipate the author fiction isn't either.

*GRINS* Having now read the story... well I was amused in a good way. It is not for everyone. Recommend you read the story's tags.

btw I have finally figured out how to post user links and communities with their little icons attached. I feel proud.

I understand there's a Youtube demonstration of it.

The link was a prompt that incited the author's plunnies to produce this fiction "Of Breeding and the British Male"

Title: Another Day in the Life of Poof
Follows (Part 1) (Part 2) & At the Crèche
All in the Animal Shelter series - "On the Streets" story arch

“Cute kitten,” Poof heard silently narrowing his barely opened his eyes from where he lay curled around Squeaky and they really needed to stop calling the baby that. The kitten had a perfectly good name but until he got older no one but family knew it, because familiar kittens were big on the Black Market. If you had the kitten’s name then you could magically control the baby kitten at this stage. Still, at what point did a nickname become a real name. Poof didn’t even remember his real name.

“Go away. We’re napping,” Poof whispered back harshly at the young wizard-like student, who grinned down at him in response. Squeaky token kneaded Poof’s belly trying to get milk from the nipple he’d latched onto and fell asleep again. There wasn’t any milk there, ‘cause Squeaky was Kormier’s kitten, but suckling helped the kitten sleep as did Poof’s purring.

“Why isn’t the kitten nursing from all of your nipples? The fur’s only slicked back from two. Cute pink titties by the way.”ExpandRead more... )

Stretched out on the bed, Elert trailed a finger down over a nipple, circling around it and watched it peak and Kormier shiver. He smiled, “Love you.”

“Love you more,” Kormier returned grinning stretching into the caress, “after all I’m going to lose my svelte body bringing a Elert-Kormier hybrid into the world.” His hand stroked down, cupping the slight pooch of his belly.

“Ah, but there’ll be more of you to love and I find that I like the idea of watching your body change knowing that there’s a bit of me mixed with you inside growing into a small kitten,” Elert said leaning down to kiss Kormier.

Kormier frowned slightly, “Poof was being a bit skittish today at the clinic,” he paused and then grinned. “Well more than usual since we were going to the med-vet. I think you are his favorite medical provider even though you’re not one. He’s never recovered from his ‘you can fix anything’ impression; be it feline flu or bee stings.”

With a shake of his head in memory Elert replied, “You’d think that living on the streets like he did for so long, he’d have learned to not to step on a bee. Then again he lived on the outside looking in with most of the street culture, our little naive loner. His mother must have kept him away from any of the other felines, not just the humans, in the neighborhood.”ExpandRead more... )

Title: The Facts of Life (G, familiars, series)

If Poof could have dug a hole and climbed into it, he would have. Catnip. His friend’s parents had named their familiar kitten Catnip because they’d eaten it and his friend had happened.

‘Conceived’. Papa had carefully explained instead of using ‘got with kitten’ or ‘preggers’.

Poof didn’t know how he was going to look his friend in the eye after this. As it was he had to stop himself from staring at Papa’s tummy where a little kitten was growing. Poof didn’t want to think about his parents and sex. The Clinic’s sex education brochures in his pocket burned.

It occurred to me that some might have missed this as it's unfolding. It's set after 'the' party with catnip laced brownies. Something that is not recommended for familiars as unintended pregnancy is prone to come about. “Makes me want to smack and grab those ass cheeks hard,” Luke commented. “Think he knows.”

Removing his mouth from the cup lid where he was sucking up his coffee Matt eyed the bright rainbow of an umbrella carried over the top half of the person with the ass in question. “Maybe.” He shrugged, “And then again the eclectic rest of his attire, the backpack; he’s probably a student which may mean you’ve got a chance after all. University is a time for exploring and discovering.”

Still eying that sweet ass with the Xs marking the spot, Luke growled, “and that shadowy line down, between his cheeks… he’s gotta know.”

Okay I called finally to hear how things were going.

I failed the grandmother test. I don't know when HE was born but sometime before 6:30pm. Update: Time of birth 4:58 pm

When they stabbed his heel his O2 levels went down so they put him back on O2 for a bit.
Otherwise the little guy seems fine. Jenn is fine. John is worse for wear.

Prompt: Note - neighbor

Alex came back from getting the paper with a pensive look on his face.

“Something wrong?” Damien asked. “Some earth shattering world news I missed? I know it can’t be local or one of the neighbors would be knocking on our door before this to let us know.”

Alex looked up from reading the note, handing the mail and the late edition of the newspaper over still folded and obviously unread. “How do you feel about ball gags?”

“Ball gags?”

“I think they’ve a wide selection at a coffee house I heard of, Pleasures I think it’s called. They even give you details about the merchandise while you enjoy whatever refreshment you’ve ordered. Here,” Alex handed over the note too. “Seems we made too much of a fair bit of noise last night.”

Fire kindled in Damien’s eyes, “You can’t do a proper exorcism in whispers!” ExpandRead more... )
