There are two parts to the hamantaschen, the dough and the filling. The dough is kind of like a sugar cookie dough but not really, maybe something between sugar cookie and bread dough and it has a little extra citrus. Fillings range, but this chocolate one is the easiest and my favorite. Here is what you need:
Dough:
1 cup (two sticks) butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
Zest and juice from one small orange or 1/2 large orange
2 eggs
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 cups flour (to start)
Filling:
Brownie mix (and whatever ingredients called for on the box)
M&M’s® Crispy/ M&M mints
Instructions:
Butter and sugar in the mixer and mixed it until fluffy and light.
Add the vanilla and orange juice and zest.
Add the eggs one at a time, waiting until the first one is mixed before adding the second.
Mix the baking powder, salt and flour together and add the mixture in 3 parts to the dough. Mix it until it pulls away from the side of the mixing bowl, depending on where you live you might need to add more flour to achieve this. Once it is all mixed, put it in a bowl (or leave it in the mixing bowl), cover with plastic wrap and then put in the fridge for an hour or two.
Before you roll out your dough, preheat your oven to 350 degrees, mix up your brownie mix, and grab your M&M’s® Crispy.
Roll out the cookie dough to about a quarter of an inch and cut circles. You could really do any size.

Then the only thing left to do is pinch them in a triangle and bake them off. I would start with about 10 minutes and then check every minute or two after that.
