“Can you summon my coat from inside?” Brian asked.

“Nope, not animate. Doesn’t work with people either. Don’t believe all that movie tripe,” Gabriel interspersed between teasing kisses on Brian’s neck.

“So letting me go in to get my coat…”

“Not going to happen without me invited in,” Gabriel tightened his clutch.

Sighing, Brian said, “I’m thinking us doing something together outside the house while I make up my mind about letting you in.” Adding, “And no biting on the first date.”

“Vampire’s promise to be good while I’m seducing you?”

Brian grinned, “How good we talking?”

“Been no complaints.”

“Been any survivors to make complaints?” Brian raised an eyebrow.

With irritation Gabriel responded, “Remember what I said; ‘movie tripe.’ There were no dead or dying bodies after being with me. Might have been a little woozy, but they’d been drinking, too.”

“So you pick up strangers and wow them and leave them,” Brian stated.

“Am thinking about changing to a single donor but I need something in the entrance, if you get what I mean.”

“You don’t even know me.”

“Been stalking you,” Gabriel shrugged. “Wait ‘til morning and you’ll see. To know me is to love me. Please?”

This is Friday which is Halloween, both of which means that it will be v.busy at work and the students will be 'interesting' as there is a Reading Party and there will be candy involved.

Scary.

Brian might make up his mind today but a lot will depend on what the students leave behind.
