Lord Appleton’s obituary had been placed in the paper signaling Stephen’s rise in society and the family’s decent into their mourning. A grand-uncle didn’t necessarily require full mourning but he knew Stephen had been close to the man. Anthony wondered if their card game would fall to grief. To forestall that, he offered a discrete invitation to his rooms.

Come for cards, wine, and companionship.

Stephen had come and unsurprisingly lost. Through the simple expedient of attentions, Anthony had soothed tears with kisses and words; spooned around Stephen and buried himself deeply through the night.

When my first bookstore was sold to a larger chain and we were all unsure if they'd hire us on, we would discuss all buying a certain t-shirt.

Got held up from leaving this morning for half an hour of bitching, I barely said a word and what I did say was 'Well I'm not here in the day, I don't see what goes on' aka covering my arse for the next round!

Our supervisor is coming into work in tears. The work load is beyond the possible, and the manager a waste of space.

Set uniform and I wouldn't want to give the company ideas!
