Air Conditioning = necessity.

HAD to work on Friday, it's one of our busiest days circulation wise and my Librarian was doing orientations through out the day.
Saturday was drive an hour to daughter and wonderful son-in-law's for baby shower. The future grandmother must attend.
Saturday night slept with ice pack hugged to chest.
Sunday was miserable, thankfully the weather cooled overnight sometime around 2 am but to survive we HAD to turn on the a/c to get the house down to 80F. from 89F. We couldn't stand it any longer.
Found out today that if I'd known that it ONLY (notice that only) cost $30 more the company would have come out Sunday.
Was fretting away thinking that we'd have to have a whole new unit put in again... just made the last payment on the a/c unit. That ranks into the thousands of dollars.
Did not sleep well.
So the very nice man came in and remember that drain that I poured bleach down and it went down just fine? Yeah well that drain goes directly into the water sewer. The clog was between that place and where the coils drain to. So the drainage line goes horizontal then does a sharp down into a loop which then empties below where I poured the bleach down. Took the very nice man a clip of the plastic pipe, drain the water out of the pipe, then blow air through the pipe removing the clog. Debating pouring more bleach down the intake that drains directly into the sewer. Do not want to have a clog form down there. It is a larger drain though.
Note to self. Have the people out for the Spring tune up. Because, oh Lord thank you, you don't want to be without a/c in Texas. How did they survive in the past?
