Carefully he stroked back a lock of sweat dampened hair behind a pink tinged ear. ‘Nibbling will do that,’ he smiled. Oh what a night they’d had and there’d be more, he wasn’t done in garnering in his winnings. But it paid to pace both partners in this enterprise. It was supposed to be taxing and pleasurable, the torture in the loving and wanting. A waking groan from Anthony had Stephen applying himself to sweet seduction and to placing kisses upon already reddened sensitive areas. He hadn’t yet delved deeper into his exquisitely handsome masterpiece. They’d get there, with time.

“Why is your brother walking so strangely?”

Everett considered and then nodded, “Yesterday was Friday, he plays cards with a friend every Thursday.”

The lady beside him wrinkled her forehead in confusion, “What does that have to do with how he walks?”

Smothering a laugh, he did not tell her that if she thought his brother walked oddly, she’d be more baffled with how carefully he sat. “Well, that means he lost.”

“I still don’t understand.”

Shrugging Everett said, “Whatever the stakes are for that game, he just smiles saying he lost this time but he’ll get payback next round.”

With a smug cascade of clicks the winning hand was fanned out face up upon the table.

“Do I have to remind you that I’m engaged to go horseback riding tomorrow,” was disgruntledly stated.

A slow smile answered, “I know. With the young lady who has expectations for matrimony.”

“She wishes,” was replied, “doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.”

“I’m not going to share you.” There was a pause, “So, I’ll allow you a slight postponement with an inserted reminder of my intentions.” He smiled, “I shall enjoy joining your riding party and witnessing your fidgeting disinterest in her proposals.

The moon on the day you were born

It warned that my birth year was a long ways from 1990 and so the image might not be accurate. Darn.
It said that I was born 0.9 days from the new moon.
So there's this little barely discernible line around the periphery of the moon in the image.
It's kind of interesting to be born in the darkness of a new moon. Foreshadowing?
