I just heard a crazy fun fact about vampires & mirrors!
The premise was that wayyyy back in the day, mirrors were made & lined with SILVER.
Silver is a paranormal creatures weakness.
BUT!!!!! They don't use silver in mirrors anymore. Which means... if there really was a vampire standing behind you in a mirror, you WOULD SEE THEM!!!
Obviously I don't know if that's true or not - but it's fun to think about

Date: 2021-10-20 12:04 am (UTC)That is correct. The argent metal is pure and will not tolerate evil: Why it works on werewolves and will not show vampires’ reflection. (Logically it wouldn’t show werewolves either, but that seldom seems to matter.) But most mirrors even then were polished metal, and video monitors et al would work normally.
