Now have fever. At least we found a thermometer that worked. It's a bit much 101.8 F or 38.8 C.

Working thermometer has me at 100.8. Yea?

yup, that is a fever. what kind of meds have you taken? you should try to consult your doctor to give you a different one if the meds you are taking is not helping.

though we are asked to drink a glassful of pure pineapple juice at least 3x a day. it helps though i add a couple of ice to help me drink it all. ^^;

and rest! must rest!

feel better soonest!

These are all over the counter medications

Advil (ibuprofen) for fever and aches... I got them.

Benadryl (diphenhydramine) -- because there's Mountain Cedar pollen in the air and I'm allergic.

Mucinex (12 hour) (guaifenesin) -- to thin the mucus so it won't lodge in my ears and lungs.

Zyriek (fexofenadine) -- a 24 hour anti-allergy

Don't have any antibiotics but they don't like to give those as often as they used to as the pathogens are becoming resistant.

yeah, anitbiotics are no longer reliable since the bacterias/viruses/diseases are also evolving at an alarming rate hence their resistance to most readily available ones. the pharmacies have also been pretty strict with selling them unless you have a prescription from your physician.

we use bioflu here (paracetamol/diphenhydramine hcl) to help with fever/flu, muscle pains, colds, and cough all in one go. i think the equivalent there would tylenol. advil works but for body aches and pains up to a certain point. and you still have to deal with allergies. ugh. not a great time to be sick. :(

hope you are doing better. may the weekend helped with your much needed rest.

again, you should try to drink pineapple juice. if not, apple juice should do.

[though i swear by the pineapple juice as better than apple juice. ;)]

*hugs*

Have oranges and I've been drinking grapefruit juice.

Today my right ear crackled and a little bit later I felt fluid run down, don't know if it was inside the ear canal, sure felt like it, or if the eustachian tube was the way it went. Didn't seem like there was any wetness on my neck or in my hair.

Fever popped up again but not spectacularly and some people have body temperatures of 100.2, yes?

One more day off. And ***** my eyes started burning. That doesn't happen at work as I'm in the center of the building away from my hated allergens. Took allergy meds and it's helping.
