I had real trouble seeing him as a genuine candidate who'd get votes. This result....
Hubby is researching bomb shelters and predicts other countries now shitting themselves. That is not someone anyone with a brain wants in charge.

You need dehydrated food storage. Surviving the bomb and then the food shortage after.
One of the authors I like did a hate filled post on FB about how we aren't so smart now with 'our smug we learned people know better than you' and 'looking down on the supposed illiterate hicks'.
She took all the posts down because they were quite upsetting and I'm sure she thought better about them from a PR point of view. A lot of anger there though on her part.

Am really hoping that it was hyperbole that was in Trump's speeches and debates. Really.

Problem with easy posting, internet doesn't always translate emotion favourably.

His speech seemed watered down, all 'us together' which is hardly how he normally represents himself. Really hoping the team behind him shackle him hard, otherwise it's a scary result for a lot of people.

Obama gave a humorous discussion once about how excited he was when they upgraded his blackberry phone for a smartphone, so he could do all the things that his wife and kids were doing. So he asked the govt person where the twitter app was and the person told him, nope you don't get that. Turns out there wasn't much he could do on the phone at all, it was mostly one that could only call within the govt. extensions.

My ex is a Trump person. He's saying if I'd just listen to Trump I'd be okay with what he's saying and it's all the news filter.
Sounds fine except that I watched live several of Trump's speeches and all of the debates from beginning to end, is what I told him.

Another white male who bought into Trumps lies about what he said/really meant.

I like Mr. Meep's bomb shelter idea but you have to have provisions, probably dried, to survive after the fact. We're back in the 1950- 60s again.

Am hoping he's been all hyperbole.

After all, all he needs to do is serve one term and he's got the 'I was President' retirement money coming in.

Am waiting to see how he does on those outstanding lawsuits because being President doesn't give you any protection or it hasn't in the past.
