luzestrellera, I NEED an icon that says 'Fuck Everyone!'. How did I go from depressed to angry, I don't know. *whines* I evidently write horror. *sighs*
really? *giggles* wich series? i saw some of Lovecrafts tales turned into movies and other movies based in some of his tales but they all failed miserably catching the meaning and atmosphere that he created with his writting those movies were like pale parodies and they even mixed elements of other tales... i never got why movie makers can't stick to an argument, mostly when it's not so complicated, it's a tale.... not a novel that you need to resume most of the times in order to make a movie of 2 hours instead of 2 moths XD he mostly appealed to unknown worlds as source of fear so he had creatures of outer space or hidden results of forbidden practices...he created a whole colection of myths, with Gods, followers, hidden cults and forbidden books that only a few had access to he was a big fan of greek mythology and myths in general, and that's why he created his own "cult" he laso was part of a group of writers , called "the Lovecreaft circle" that included Robert Bloch, Ambrose Bierce, Clark Ashton Smith, and others that keps correspondence among them and inluded Lovecraft's characters (or as a character) or elements in their stories and Lovecraft included them as characters in some tales too, also co-wrote some stories and corrected others (i guess he was a good Beta...LOL) he described his monsters as horrible things in the tales but well, that worked when you were reading cause your imagination played a big role in how you pictured that "thing" since he used to give hints but not a very detailed description maybe that's why movies failed so bad... they had to materialize that "thing" and it oviously never turned as you imagined it, so mostly i laughed more than shivered....XD and now i get from where the anger came... not your lucky day... those things can spoil anyone's good temper (and oopsss... yesterday I slammed my purse down on a car's hood while trying to cross the street and having to sort the cars that shouldn't have been there cause they should have stopped after the light turned red... XD) form Lovecraft to Stephen King.... you writting is still scary... LOL, but the inteligent kind *G*
Story was something to do with a mentally tormented half eldritch male trying to live in denial of his father's genetic contribution. He falls in love with a woman circa Victorian times. She discovers there's something not normal about him, is hunted and almost killed by eldritches but he intercedes and is I think killed. His body is seen being pulled into the sewer system by an arm that comes up through an access hole in the street. Don't know if he's going to be eaten, the body reclaimed by his father or if he's just unconcious and will live underground as an eldritch from now on.
