luzestrellera, I NEED an icon that says 'Fuck Everyone!'. How did I go from depressed to angry, I don't know. *whines*
I evidently write horror. *sighs*

HAHAHAHA, ah, I dunno what they do to "analyze" this, it's probably some type of funny algorithm, but I don't think I write like Douglas Adams or Harry Harrison (whoever the latter is :|)

@_@ Algorithm. Yes, blame it on the algorithm. If it's not though,
I know about the movie Soylent Green that was based on Harrison's book.
We can be creepy together?

OOH, so he's the one. XD; I've heard about Soylent Green. (I might be flattered :D if it were true) HAHAHA wthh XD Yes, let's just be creepy together. XD

Yes, it's probably like that. I doubt any existing computer program could accurately analyze text based on "CONTENT" itself and not number of sentences per paragraph, number of words per sentence, blah blah XD; (I'm taking this up in college... and yeah XD;)

*smiles* I got Lovecraft first and on re-doing it with something else I got Stephen King. This is unsettling to say the least. I swear I'm not a serial killer of animals or people. I'm a really nice person. *tries to look like a nice person really hard*

Have you figured out what the analysis uses to determine what one writes like? You've got to have some idea if you were able to predetermine a result and I didn't believe you wrote like a 3 year old on acid. Three year olds don't do a good job at pencil/hand coordination to form letters *snickers*. No idea what one on acid would be like. Does anyone do acid anymore?

I think it had some thing to do with writing in differant colours about My Little Ponies and stopping half way through to write whoo so many colours, it's like the paper is a living rainbow.

And it seems that everyone is getting Stephen King, I got him when I tried it again and a few other people on Lj have.

LMAO, Lovecraft? and you are angry about the result?
well... one of my fav writers ever *hides*
not just horror, not the common horror... the guy knew so much about methaphisics...
but Lovecraft would have never written what you posted not long ago.... *giggles* (imagine the face of a Lovecraft's fan reading that in one of his books...XD)
otherwise he'd be not one of my fav, he'd be my absolute idol *cackles madly*
need to try the quiz :P
and i'll give a try to that icon XDXDXD

More shocked then angry and a little horrified because all I know of Lovecraft's work is from a episode of a horror series. It was interesting and sorrowful but pretty gruesome.

No, anger was that I was not careful enough to check that the food court person gave me what I asked for, instead making me pay for a sandwich that was more expensive then what I'd ordered, was something I could not eat and I discovered it after I was away and could not correct the problem. That and I stopped my vehicle suddenly so it crossed the sidewalk and was there long enough for traffic that a man walking by slammed his fist down on the hood several times. I told him sorry and all I got was a scowl from him. Haven't checked the hood to see if it's damaged but suspect it's not. It's just .. *sighs*

I re-did the analysis using a comment to another person.. I went from Lovecraft to Stephen King results. I've watched The Shining. I have big round eyes now.

really? *giggles* wich series?
i saw some of Lovecrafts tales turned into movies and other movies based in some of his tales but they all failed miserably catching the meaning and atmosphere that he created with his writting
those movies were like pale parodies and they even mixed elements of other tales... i never got why movie makers can't stick to an argument, mostly when it's not so complicated, it's a tale.... not a novel that you need to resume most of the times in order to make a movie of 2 hours instead of 2 moths XD
he mostly appealed to unknown worlds as source of fear
so he had creatures of outer space or hidden results of forbidden practices...he created a whole colection of myths, with Gods, followers, hidden cults and forbidden books that only a few had access to
he was a big fan of greek mythology and myths in general, and that's why he created his own "cult"
he laso was part of a group of writers , called "the Lovecreaft circle" that included Robert Bloch, Ambrose Bierce, Clark Ashton Smith, and others that keps correspondence among them and inluded Lovecraft's characters (or as a character) or elements in their stories and Lovecraft included them as characters in some tales too, also co-wrote some stories and corrected others (i guess he was a good Beta...LOL)
he described his monsters as horrible things in the tales but well, that worked when you were reading cause your imagination played a big role in how you pictured that "thing" since he used to give hints but not a very detailed description
maybe that's why movies failed so bad... they had to materialize that "thing" and it oviously never turned as you imagined it, so mostly i laughed more than shivered....XD
and now i get from where the anger came... not your lucky day... those things can spoil anyone's good temper (and oopsss... yesterday I slammed my purse down on a car's hood while trying to cross the street and having to sort the cars that shouldn't have been there cause they should have stopped after the light turned red... XD)
form Lovecraft to Stephen King.... you writting is still scary... LOL, but the inteligent kind *G*

I was early teens, a heck of a long time ago.

Story was something to do with a mentally tormented half eldritch male trying to live in denial of his father's genetic contribution. He falls in love with a woman circa Victorian times. She discovers there's something not normal about him, is hunted and almost killed by eldritches but he intercedes and is I think killed. His body is seen being pulled into the sewer system by an arm that comes up through an access hole in the street. Don't know if he's going to be eaten, the body reclaimed by his father or if he's just unconcious and will live underground as an eldritch from now on.

*grins*If I knew how to make icons that would be a new one I would love to have.
I have been asking what is the criteria the quiz uses to chose the writer's style. It seems odd I'd get the two authors I did.

Oh good. *laughs* Plugged in the above and this came up...
