*Growls*
Oh look my email inbox just received a comment to a comment that was posted on lj approx. 24 hours ago. I received and read other lj comments that were posted after this before I even got this one.
I'd thought it odd yesterday that the chronology had seemed to be off but this ... Late is one thing. Out of posted order is totally another. Where'd they get hung up during that time? And Why?
Is this some glitch in Lj? Though I'd read this particular comment earlier in my Lj inbox. Is it Big Brother's monitoring?

Dearly Beloved we are gathered here today because 'That Site' is down AGAIN!

I was good all day today and didn't sneak a peak at Lj once while at work. Okay, okay so the internet was down at work for a few hours at the beginning of the day and it started a precident. But I waited. And I was good. .... And I'm whining.

Once again Live Journal is down due to a DDoS attack. *GROWLS*

Title: DDoS or you thought the internet was slow today?

The keyboard looked at the monitor and shrugged, ‘it was not his fault.’ The monitor, looking totally unimpressed, continued to show one of two options; ERROR 550 or the generic Explorer was unable to connect; non-committally.

Okay, so Live Journal was probably under attack yet again. It was getting old and the tower suggested the author try composing the story, save and post later.

The author carefully arranged a finger in the face of the monitor to pass on to the tower and then opened a Word program to do just that. Carefully preserving his impassive face in the background, the monitor refused to explain that he didn’t pass on messages. He had a good job/life and he didn’t want to lose it. Authors could be so out of touch with reality sometimes and attribute powers of which internet capable machines did not in fact possess.

Dear Lj,

My in-box has no new messages and yet my friends page has entries that should have and have in the past been sent to my in-box. What is happening?
Also, why do I find that this post was double posted?

Sincerely confused,
charis

So somehow yesterday I banned my beloved mee_eep from posting comments to my journal. Except I didn't and with where I was reading and commenting and posting no where did it have an easy way to mistakenly hit a button to ban someone. Luckily she is persistant and resourceful.

Today, there's about a 2 hour + or - of posting to my regular e-mail of comments and friends' entries. It's slow so I was flicking to the e-mail notifications, the Lj inbox frequently. My regular Friends Page on Lj had a entry posted a while before it made it to the Lj in box.

Dear technology,
Speed it up here. I'm human last I looked and I'm faster than you are. This is inherently wrong.
Get with it,
Me
