Nålbinding
May. 20th, 2018 02:15 pmBefore knitting there was nålbinding... or so they believe. Not surprising considering how easy knitting comes apart and the 'yarn' was all made of natural fibers. Would imagine that with the all work of making the 'yarn', people back then would have been big into repurposing damaged items and/or their materials.

Cast on in multiples of 2.
Slip first stitch over onto other needle then yarn over and then knit next 2 together.
Continue.
Perl last stitch.
Turn and repeat.
