So it's mid-November, month of NaNoWriMo. And though drabbles are not a novel and there's tinkering involved in saying something in only 100 words, these are still fun. There's writing involved. It's happening in November. :P Close enough.

RULES: found in profile
Anyone can post a prompt.
Prompts should consist of a picture or three words (e.g., refrigerator, light, mountain).
Writers can then post their 100-word stories in subsequent posts. Please follow the posting guidelines below to ensure your stories can be linked back to the original prompts, and vice-versa.
To be fair, and to ensure that the community is not overrun by only prompts and no entries, you MUST write TWO (2) 100-word stories for each prompt you give.
--- my prompt plus its *grins* obligatory 2 drabbles.

Spin off --Drabble Cascade #75– “Trap”
Aug. 27th, 2014 04:40 pmTitle: The Setting Part 2
Author: charisstoma
Word count: 100
Follows from here with The Setting part 1
Riding side-saddle in front of the Prince, River voiced his thoughts, “It’s not as if you’ll get any little princes or princesses out of me.”
Elkhart smiled pointing at himself, “fifth son of the King. My brothers will all be grateful of our non-production of heirs.”
“But we don’t even know each other,” River found himself whining.
“Again not a problem, your brothers sent in a resume with your likes, dislikes, accomplishments and,” Elkhart smirked, “your faults. We’ll have a long discrete engagement but I believe you might come to like me too. What’s not to like.”
River sighed, “modesty?”

Title: Breaking the Bed
Author: charisstoma
Word count: 100
For some reason I keep wanting to write to the prompt pled instead of bid. *sighs* Writer fail.
Success: Breaking the Bed In
“I can’t. I can’t anymore,” was gasped in time to the creaking of the bed.
“All most there, you can do it,” was huffed back in encouragement. Frankly, Frank didn’t know if he could, really, but he wasn’t going to tell that to Jamie.
“Frank please,” the syllables of the please were drawn out between caught in and gasped out breaths. “Can’t we stop just for a moment to rest?”
There was an ominous crackling from the bed frame that froze both of them.
“Quick. Move it,” Frank commanded frantically but the bed didn’t make it successfully up the stairs.

FB3X Drabble Cascade #22 - Rain
Title: That Which Must (G)
Author: charisstoma
Word count: 100
Prompt : Rain
The sky was crying this morning, sad leaden clouds hanging sullenly over the mountains and forest. It would not impede the offering though, somethings continued no matter what the weather. He looked down at the rich meal set upon the table, savory meats with vegetables and thick slabs of bread, fresh fruits cunningly presented, a healthy repast. There was no sense in turning on the news, he knew what it would say, he did not need to hear it.
There was a discrete cough from the entryway. Ah, it was time.
Rising, he walked out to the waiting sacrificial alter.

Drabble: I'll Say a Little Prayer for You
May. 8th, 2013 01:28 pmTitle: I’ll Say a Little Prayer for You
Author: charisstoma
Word count: 100
Prompt: A little strainer (Don’t ask. Okay it was a projectile for a catapult)
Apologies to Burt Bacharach and Hal David whose earworm has infected me.
“Whenever I wake up,” humming filled the stanza gap.
“I drain a little blood from you.
Forever,Forever.
Forever my blood.
Will keep you unliving.”
William turned over stretching cat like. “Breakfast time already?” His eyes didn’t want to open. He felt a hand ghost up along his ribs, a whisper over his naked skin.
“I want a little piece of you.” Elian warbled settling between the cradle of Will’s thighs.
“Isn’t that supposed to be, ‘I’ll say a little prayer for you’.”
“Oh, it’s way too late for that for you love,” was purred as Elian suckled on his Willy.
