Middle School is soooooo much fun. English teacher (really good English teacher) came into the library laughing and crying. She has been reading Alice in Wonderland to the students in class and gave them a pop quiz asking questions about the characters and the author.
You will be happy??! to hear that:
Alice in Wonderland was written by Bob Cratchit.
The Red Queen was friendly and helpful.
Two characters in the book were 'the Cashier Cat' and 'the Mad Hater'.

We followed her into tears and laughter seconding her comments of 'where did she go wrong?'

This is the same teacher who threw her hands up in the air and proceded to plan a unit in cursive writing for her classes. Students are just introduced to it in the elementary grades and then nothing else is done with it. Keyboarding is where the main concentration is after that but one can not use a computer for everything even in academia. Some exams need to be hand written and if the examiners can't read your writing your grade will reflect that.
