Has everyone gone insane. First the Austin plane crashing into the IRS building and then the work situation.

If you happen to work in a larger school system (hopefully any work place) you can not throw racial epithets around. You are expected to behave with a modicum of restraint, not like a person who needs serious medication. At least this was between adults and not involving students but still... To think that they wanted to hold the meeting in the library initially.

The woman has to be deranged. I passed two official looking visitors in the hall and overheard one ask the other if he 'could believe that she said that'. Then I heard that the head custodian had gone off on the woman in charge of the afterschool programs, yelling and screaming. Except it was the other way round.

I've heard; there've been phone calls to downtown with the term Jew mentioned. She's brought in terms for black and hispanic one doesn't use in the work place. She accused the Principal of nonsupport of her program; the custodian of physically threatening her then following and haranguing him down the hallway, and she refuses to return to work until the Head Custodian is fired. All at the top of her lungs. That was a day ago and she's still making calls downtown.

She's not ISD personnel but paid out of grant money. Hope she stays away voluntarily. Don't know if they can keep her away but one of the two official visitors who I passed in the hallway is supposedly her supervisor so there's hope.

Incredibly bizarre.

Dude, what? Did the school thing happen in Austin? My sister's a VP in Pflugerville but she keeps pretty informed about AISD stuff. It sound reprehensible!

Plane crash was Austin.

This thing with the insane lady was in DFW area.

Our Head Custodian is the sweetest person. He does a great job with his people. Our school shines in spite of students' interesting activities and the roof work recently done.
