Local kid committed suicide recently. A tragedy and I feel sad for the family.
Would not feel comfortable with how the family is being treated if it was my family this had happened to. Too much touchy feely.
They invite themselves to drop by for coffee or visits with the family.
They are bringing can goods and such to the family like you'd expect for a disaster relief, not fixed food dishes.
They've assigned a church member for each person in the family to see to their needs, even the young children.
They are forming prayer circles around the school where the kid hung himself. 0_0
This is in my opinion stalking the family's sorrow. Let the family pull together and find solace with each other before all this exposure. Let them grieve as a family without eyes on them. Then again maybe this is how the family's church community does things. *shudders*
