The questioning near the end ... yes. If your teaching materials, and training from the company that makes the tests results in worse test scores than before then there is something very wrong. I would give them an failing grade. Texas pays $500 million to Pearson with a 5 year contract.

We have some sort of standardized testing in schools here, too. It's something mandated by the provincial government and I wonder how effective it is. A lot of times it shows that students are not doing well, but when you're not allowed to fail a kid for not knowing the material being taught in class, what did you expect would happen when you try and test what the kid knows?

I'm also highly suspicious of anything put out by the Liberal government. I'm not making this net bit up, I swear. In Ontario schools, a new sex ed class will be rolled out shortly. Teaching kids about their bodies and sex and the risks/dangers that come from the act is a good thing but it needs to be age appropriate.

It also desperately needs to NOT be a program developed by a convicted pedophile and supporter of grooming young children to be sex partners. Nope, not even making that shit up.

This disgusting perv has the new sex ed teaching 6 year olds how to masturbate with things like cucumbers, carrots, etc. and how to prepare their asses to take cock. At 6 years old. I don't care where you're from, that's just not right. At all. I'm about as far from a prude as you can get but....

And it's not like there isn't time to change the program or that parents everywhere aren't furious about this decision and protesting all over the place. The program is slated to go live in September. But the Liberals are sticking by the program and the creator, who, again, is a convicted pedophile that encourages grooming children for sex, by saying its necessary to teach kids about sex at an earlier age than we (the parents) were taught it.

he's a former education deputy minster that recently plead guilty to 3 child porn charges (written, counselling a person to commit sexual assault on a minor and possession of child porn). He was originally charged with 7 offences.

Wynne is trying to claim that deputy ministers don't write policy but... there's documents of the policy that he's signed and memos from him about it. Just one more thing the Liberals are lying about.
