We were suppose to have a high in the 40s today. It got to 39. Low of 25 forecast.
Tomorrow forecast says that it will be low to mid 40s. Shall I hold my breath?
Wednesday is suppose to be high of 50, low of 30.
Thursday forecast is high 29 low 23 with possibility of brief showers in the morning .. um how was that suppose to happen? Below freezing does not rain showers make. Then again maybe it'll be warmer above ground level ..freezing rain? Wonder if we are going to have a snow day.
Friday 15 and 25 predicted.
This is Dallas/ Ft.Worth TEXAS

They are still working on tarring the school's roof. Some of the rooms don't have heat because workmen not knowing what they were doing messed up the system while doing the roof.
Halls smell like the La Brea Tar Pits.
Some of the outer rooms that don't have heat are the science labs. Water pipes are in the science labs, walls are 1/2 windows and no I don't think they are going to leave the doors open to allow warmer hallway air in.
This will be fun.

Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix. TCU vs Bosie State. Tell me when it's over.

Yes this weather sucks. It is 18 degrees here right now. I wish it was 40. Don't like this intense cold.

Agreement, this weather does suck. Sympathies on your 18.
Am expecting that I will hear from my siblings in the frozen north *cough* Wisconsin *cough* calling me a wimp. The highest they're going to get is 18 this week.
I remember walking on snow so cold it sounded like styrofoam growing up in Madison. The antifreeze in my blood has leached out from years of hot weather here.

TCU is losing. I can't watch.

Omg You went from Wisconsin to DFW! Big change. Hang in there! Are you watching football? I don't keep up with that though I have heard of TCU.

No I did worse. I went from Wisconsin to the Rep. de Panama then to Yuma Arizona then here. So COLD to hot and OMG humid, to hot and OMG dry, to hot/cold and humid/dry with days in between any combination of those like a yo-yo. They also threw in Moutain Cedar which I seem to be allergic to. Speaking of which, it's time for more benadryl and Muscinex.

I don't do football but.... TCU was losing when I popped in to see. I popped out again. *cringes* I will console myself with they aren't the Wisconsin Badgers if they lose. Kinda want them to win though. Okay Yeah. I want them to win ..but.. I can't watch.

Found a site where they just show you live scores of the game. They even move a little football between the two teams' name depending on who has the ball. Cuuuute.

Boise has the ball with a little more then 9 minutes left of the 4th quarter. 10 to 7 Boise's favor.

*wails* I don't like football. What is wrong with me????!!

I never have been able to understand football. Maybe once every few years hubby will watch a Dallas Cowboys game. I don't get it. :)

I was wrong they are still in the 3rd quarter and the score is now tied. *hyperventilates*

See they've got this ball that looks like it started off round and then it got squashed a bit into an oval. They throw it and catch it and run with it and occasionally they kick it. There's a lot of tackling of people who have the ball and the object is to get the ball across the line of the other team. Kind of a 'Red Rover, Red Rover and take the ball over'. They can also kick the ball so it goes through the tines of the big tuning fork on the other side of the end line which gives them points but not as much as when they manually take the ball over the line. Just to be really nasty they can tackle the guy carrying the ball behind his own line for points which seems like rubbing salt in a wound. I hope that all made sense. *grins and snickers* Don't hit me. I'm cuuuuute.

LMAO That actually kind of made sense out of it to me. :)

Weather: Friday night it is supposed to get down to -3. That's not wind chill--it's the fricking temperature! Thursday the high for the day will be a balmy 10 fricking degrees!! This is colder than normal. I don't like this.

where is this global warming they talk of?

Lol. Is there somewhere I could complain and get my global warming?! :) Don't tell me the Arctic Circle got our warmer temps. That would be upsetting.

If UPS misdelivered it we can get money for it's stated value.

edit: Which one of us decided the value? Did you? I forgot.

I think whoever sends it states the value. I am ready to raise some hell. I wonder what UPS would say if I called up and said my global warming got misdelivered? Just kidding but it's fun to think about.

Don't know how I missed this from Tuesday. *shakes head*

I think at this time we can safely say that it wasn't that the global warming was misdelivered so much as a bait and switch. We were delivered a bill of goods. They said we were getting global warming and instead were delivered artic freeze.
All of Texas made it into the below freezing area of the thermometer on Saturday. I need to have a long talk with the former spouse about his tinkering with the weather. He SAaaaaays he just measures and reports it...

I remember living in Jolon CA near King City and just outside of Ft. Hunter Liggett. It freezes outdoor water pipes there on the odd time or two. You must be Southern CA. where citrus grows happily in the backyards. I could be envious.

TCU is 7 points below Boise and it's the 4th quarter with 5 minutes to go. EEEeeeeeeeeK.
