Patron security in the work place
Aug. 10th, 2009 08:16 pmOnce again a certain individual posts security sensitive information on the school's employee website in adobe format and accessible from home. While I appreciate that person's trust that no one here is dishonest or needs money that badly as to violate that trust.. Posting a list of SS# with names and birth dates of students doesn't seem secure enough.
With budgetary cuts and probably overworked IT getting ready for a resumption of classes in just 14 days and knowing that employee e-mail accounts have been maintained on the system in the past after an individual has been discontinued..
*shakes head*
Ends rant: the sequel.
