Danger Luddite at work
Aug. 4th, 2009 04:28 amI had to update my work e-mail password from home and problems seem to have started shortly after that.
AT&T popup told me that I should check my firewall's settings at three places. Played with the computer's firewall settings at the locations they said. Then it wouldn't even do a Norton scan. Finally noticed the option of reset defaults and went WTH.
Everything seems *looks around warily* to be working. After it's gone to bed and risen(Please God)again in the morning we will see.
I now am back to the AT&T 'classic' e-mail style. When I accidentally changed it from 'classic', a long heck of a time ago, I didn't like it too much but mmep got use to it. Now I'm back at the older version and umm I'm not sure if I like it more or less or if it's just strange. *sigh*
Note to self:
Do not let the computer at home ever ever again hookup with it's big brother in the work internet system. It messes with its little computer mind and tells it to do bad things like NOT WORK. It can visit through the firewall's tiniest window just for e-mail messages but NOTHING MORE. NO MORE PLAY DATES.
