There was a feel to the tunnel, a feeling of other. This wasn't something happened upon in reality. So this had to be a dream, Mike told himself, this couldn’t be real, might not be safe. He froze in place, not sure what to do. Did he walk down the tunnel, turn back, could he stay right here forever?

“You have to make a decision,” the air said. “I won’t wait forever.”

Mike’s feet started running without any thought, the leaves playfully slapping at him.

Something solid encircled him from behind, holding tightly.

“And now,” was purred, “I have you.”

Now this one's intriguing - is it a dream, or is it real, and who does that purring voice belong to? :D I love the indecision at the beginning, it drew me in.

It is the stuff of dreams. I've dreamed like this and yet that photo was taken recently by a friend studying in the U.K. Running away is wanting, I've read in dream analysis, wanting to be caught by whatever/whoever is chasing you.
