“Why that brand, it’s more expensive?” Herman asked holding up the bottle.

“It’s good,” was answered tersely.

Ira knew Herman, and he was about to make a scene in the store, “Just because it costs more doesn’t mean it’s better,” was said for all and sundry to hear.

“Look I like it. You like it. It’s what we’ve always used even if you didn’t know how much it cost or noticed the brand.”

“We need to be more conservative,” Herman started and stopped as Ira held up a bottle of lube that they’d already tried. “Fine, we’ll take this one.”

If only bras were like that. Seems you can find a brand and style that looks great and then they discontinue it.

YES, I found one supermarket actually did comfortable (affordable!) fitting bras, thought YAY, there might even have been a non-jiggly happy dance! then next time I go I have to try on two sizes bigger and still don't feel supported.

Silly me, I like my bras to go above nipple height and actually hold them rather than be deigned to display them as on a plate *eyeroll*

Brand loyalty *nods head* I like and found comfortable the Bali brand bras. Found a couple bras at Walmart, generic brand, that work well enough.
Am discouraged ordering online and it's not the style you're familiar with/like. You often don't get the fit you need.

Never bought brand bras, I'm not a shopper so don't go to the big clothes shops. Found I buy three different bra sizes depending on where I shop so I'd not risk ordering I like to try them on. Next time I find a comfy fit I'm stock-piling!!

Poor hubby, 'my size' if stocked is ALWAYS displayed above my head height so he has to reach them for me, and before now he's then had to then pass one to someone else too! *snicker*

Being 5'3 3/4" myself, I understand your pain. Why do they think everybody can reach that high? In the retail store I worked they gave us a LOOOONG rod with a hook to put up and take down merchandise from on high. People have to find you and then you have to find the rod. Nice thing, usually those racks didn't have to be straightened because customers couldn't get to them.

Stockpiling is a very good idea. I sold in many depts but they liked to put me in intimate apparel. You are supposed to have a bra for everyday of the week (who has that much money)so that you don't wear in the bra (like a shoe)and the support it gives not be there. Makes it difficult if they change the bra styles, so the one that gave you perfect fit isn't available anymore.

Its always the same the shelves below empty but the ones you want you can't get too.

I think I own 5, three supportive, two pretty - as in not the best for all day. Need to buy more but my last forage wasn't sucessful :( I really don't want extra padding and balcony with secret gel pouches and bras you simply topple out off. Just a nice comfortable bra that supports and doesn't pinch anywhere (Oh the horror of underwire gone astray!) if possible in a pretty pattern - because.

*laughs* I've 2 that I fall out of the center because they have a deep plunge to the band. They don't make stretch cotton tricot bras like my favorites in my size anymore. Since most of my tops are dark I have black bras and black is very sexy esp. when you're wearing black panties.

And let me say that I love low riding bikini panties but they are out of style. They're comfortable and sexy and ... argh.snarl... not available anymore.

I have become adept at removing and replacing underwires. You can buy them separately but you have to get the right size for your bra style and size.
I may have to go into intimate apparel manufacture for myself.

We maybe vertically challenged but do not discount us. We're worth more than most others who are taller. *nods head*

True. Example: codpieces. Then again, it was cold back in Elizabethan times and things shrink from cold, so it was just compensation and insulation.

I have heard tell of apparatus that slips into pants to give the appearance of curvaceousness for back and front.

I've seen those for women but not for men.
If I remember correctly there's metal spring wire that allows the thing to clamp in front and up the rear.

Have you offered to get one for Mr. Meep for Christmas? Black is so sexy and there's a cute little bow and lace at the back. Almost like a french maid's uniform.

To me it looks like a very female in good shape until you get to the pouch part. How can that be big enough to hold everything in front???

Very nicely smooth. *scowls* I want to see what he looks like when the hairs start growing back through skin that has forgotten that there are follicles there.
