Interview of the pastor or a church rep. on CNN said the young man came in on his own to ask for it but really would they exorcise a lusting after the opposite sex or just tell the kid to go home and meet a nice young God fearing woman.

You know early church leaders said that a person in perfect harmony with God should not marry at all but for those weak individuals who couldn't give up sex it was better to marry than burn in Hell (or some such - http://bible.cc/1_corinthians/7-9.htm)

How come they can't exorcise their own demons of lust from themselves?

Amen to that.

Just read the msnbc article:

"Rip it from his throat!" a woman yells. "Come on, you homosexual demon! You homosexual spirit, we call you out right now! Loose your grip, Lucifer!"

And the church says they are not prejudiced? Oh, really? God, it makes me so mad.

Their idea of what is sinful is biased. The woman that they interviewed on CNN tried to say they weren't and homosexuals were welcome in their church but the gay people had to give up that part of themselves/life style/orientation (it wasn't plainly said)once they entered. She was kind of walking a verbal line afraid to fall off as it would have indeed said that they were prejudiced.
It's frustrating to deal with some people, they are unwilling to even consider any opinion but their own.
