Book vs. Nook

I've got a series of books in my Library, the predator vs. prey series ; Lion vs. Gazelle, Shark vs. Penguin, Owl vs. Mouse.
Even if you drop a book in the bathwater, if you dry it properly, it salvageable. Try dropping a Nook or Kindle on the tile floor.

That's mean Charis I lost my kindle to bathwater c/o a somersault dive curtesy of a falling shower rail! ...amazon kindly replaced it - the kindle not the shower rail ;)

I also have one or two books with water marks about the lower corners. Hmmm.
audio books have possibilities, as long as you leave the bathroom light/fan off and don't splash too much :)

I have a book that has seen water. The Magic Thief. Its pages are all wavy looking and they make stiff crinkle noises like ancient books do when turned. I love it.
