Oil changed
Jun. 14th, 2009 02:00 amThe Oil has been changed but now do I want to touch the steering wheel or any other part of the van... I was given full service on the oil change.
The mechanic who serviced the van was not very friendly, usually he makes an effort but it seemed like he had his mad on. Then after running my card and giving me the paperwork he turned, went into the restroom just off the office/waiting room and did not make it to the toilet to judge by the sound of vomit hitting the floor. The other waiting customer decided to wait outside. Temps were 95 with heat index of 106. It must have continued to be pretty bad after I ran out to the van and making my escape, for him to want to wait outside. 5 minutes later had to return. I'd left my library books on the counter after picking up the paperwork and running away. Different mechanic gave me my books with a big smile.
I hope the full service did not include a touch of flu.

Date: 2009-06-14 06:08 pm (UTC)Of course, I might be less generous if I start feeling nauseous in a day or two. I should have been exposed already considering I work in a school. Students = little petri dishes on legs. My Mom, who I will be caring for is in her 80's, still not robust after her spinal surgery a few years back, and prone to try to catch every ailment ever made though whether consciously or constitutionally is up for debate. *sigh* My sister Reeeeeealy wants me to come down in spite of the vomitous fluius expositus (totally irreverent and wrong Latin) possibility.
