“My Great-uncle Fred died.”

Sam jerked his eyes up, “I’m sorry. Were you close?”

“Not terribly. My Father took exception to his lifestyle,” Matt grinned, “for the same reason he’s not too thrilled with us.”

“Oh,” Sam looked interested, “so it is an inherited trait then, judging by our two family histories.”

“Could be. Thing is he bequeathed me a manuscript of a sort, more something he wrote for someone named, Hillary.”

Sam put down his knife and fork, “Hillary. Uncommon name that.”

“Ye-es. Anyway it’s got Browning’s poem at the beginning and then it goes into details that I’m sure Browning would never have known about. Hillary was a ‘very’ well loved man if the descriptions are examples of what they got up to.”

“Sounds like fascinating bedtime reading. I take it that you’ve got it hidden away somewhere for later.”

“I thought we could try the first chapter tonight, if you want,” Matt smiled widely, receiving an answering smile.

“Wait, Fredrick Tomlinson of Reading?”

“Yes? “

“My Great-uncle Hillary lived in Reading.”

By lamp light, smiles were shared between smooth sheets and then pressed close to read over Sam’s shoulder, Matt began chapter one.

This is kind of awesome. But at the same time there's the eww factor of thinking about family members having sex.

There is that ewwwe factor. Luckily Matt wasn't much acquainted with Great-uncle Fred so it's minimal. *grins*
I'm sure that the family connection will be easily overlooked.

The Browning poem is made of so much awesome all on its own.
