It's not my fault

Tired. I am tired. Why is it that even the non-English speakers, one of the first things they learn is how to express, "It's not my fault. I didn't do it."? Even when all I'm doing is showing them an example of what not to do in my Library's books. Had to check almost every book that came in today for writing, underlining, drawing marks and try to make those marks go away. Luckily it was a slow day, only 45 students at about 2 books each. Telpas testing was happening.
