‘It’s just another day,’ he’d muttered in disgust. Later he’d wonder, ‘what if I hadn’t seen that Valentine’s Day window display of red and white lacy froufrou.’

He’d rolled his eyes at the guy in the costume getup of wings, which were pretty life-like actually, and minimalistic clothing complete with sash. That was right up until the git had pulled an arrow from his quiver and stabbed him.

It had hurt even if the arrow melted faster than a snowflake.
And the guy, he had just stood right in front of Keith smirking all the while, as Keith’s world reshaped.

I had a guy on Saturday ask if it wasn't too early for all our Valentine's stuff. I managed not to roll my eyes.

Between the snow keeping the trucks from arriving on time (our early morning truck arrive at 4:30 pm), employees not getting to work, the great rushes of customers sending everyone that made it to the store to the front to help, I'm amazed we have as much out as we do. Three more days.

Did that guy ask for Cupid's 'gift'? Was the guy at the end Cupid? Or the guy he falls for? Because the only guy mentioned before then was the git in wings.

I just saw the title. Was cupid recruiting? Or was this one of the recruits?

I have to go to bed. So tired...

dub-con. Wasn't Keith's idea to be recruited into being a Cupid's apprentice and I'm sure he loves his work just like he now loves his boss, the one with the arrow ... who stabbed him and then stood right there as the first person to be seen.

Sleep. You need it and there's tomorrow to be got through too.

Why does cupid need apprentices? Are they also his harem? How many does he need? Does he keep them all in long distant relationship or do they move in with him and fight over time with him?

I was asleep around 10, but someone's alarm blared for long enough to wake me up, so I got less than the nine and a half I would have gotten had that other person gotten enough sleep to get up when his alarm went off.

But I get Saturday off. Maybe I can sleep in then.

Saturdays. I live for Saturdays and sleeping in. I've been living on 5 hours a night but that's because there's a vicious cycle of coffee to stay awake at work and my body wanting to be nocturnal.

Is that someone close to you? Can you strangle them in your sleep because I think you'd get away with it.

People are seeming to want more Cupid and his apprentices/lovers. Thank you.

If he's to be apprentice does he get his own wings now? Cuse I can see him having an opinion on that ;)

OooooH SWeeeeeT.

I miss being able to get to Lj from work. Not that today was a day that allowed for that. I did 100 books checked out in one hour with active check out before and after that. You know they tell you to wash your hands before eating.... I did many times and I'd get a bite and another student would be there with a book(s). I figure that my immune system must be something fierce by now.

Yea! My payroll person worked out a deal to put me in for a half day of sick leave to cover the early dismissal days 1.38 hours that were docked from me. Think that means that I get overtime on the remainder of the 4 hours, we shall see.

Okay got to figure out how to do this VD story. People are asking leading questions and someone put up this cute kitten with wings. Curse their little furry feathered wings.

No. No food break. They pay me for 8 hours and I work 7. Am supposed to have 2 15 minute breaks which I can supposedly put together and use but if 'it's needed' I have to work those breaks.

2 schools use the Library on 3 different schedules and the one school allows the students to test on the books they've read and then return and check out new books. I will see the same kids sometimes 4 - 5 times a day cycling through.

Forget washing hands before eating. It's bite and chew as I scan and reshelve the books the little or not so little petri dishes on legs have had and the highest circulation is between 11 and 2.

Got a large bottle of sanitizer behind the desk and a sink just in the other room but there's no time to use either and eat and check in the books then turn and check out the books. Immunity system must be very strong by now and the germs in the air... they can't through the allergy symptoms.
