FB3X Drabble Cascade #47 - Crazy
Title: Crazy Love 2: A Cold Dusting of Snow (G)
Author: charisstoma
Word count: 100
Prompt: crazy
Okay we got snow
The wind blew cold, and he watched the spirits of the dead being pulled and pushed in filmy wavering patterns of drawn out white. Normally the dead were not visible, never mind Samhain when the barriers between the after-world and the living were said to stretch thin enough for the dead to visit. These dancing eddies were said to be the departed spirits who hadn’t made that crossing and it was told that they were hungry.
Henry shivered, increasing his pace towards the forge and its warmth. It must be love to be out on a cursed day like this.

Date: 2014-02-08 04:36 am (UTC)Absolutely no reason to worry about Henry. *grins* I can see what you're doing. Maybe it will work.
The wispy spirits of the dead brought to you by the dust of snowflakes so light and airy as frozen fruit flies or a very cold mist.

No fair drowning them. I've heard about the recent wetness that's happening on your side of the pond. Stay safe.

Date: 2014-02-12 11:12 pm (UTC)Minnesota. One of the water mains broke and flooded the streets in that area with water up to mid-tires and above. That was bad and then ... the water froze before they could get the vehicles out.
I take comfort that, if I remember correctly, your house is on a street that is steep?

Date: 2014-02-14 10:26 am (UTC)Frozen floods? that's doubly bad, you couldn't even access damadge or attempt to clear it away :(
Ok here. Wouldn't want to visit the beach as the wind there would be ferocious, only minor damadges though. I'm fine where I am, far enough away from water not to have to worry and our street isn't that steep but we are up the slope ;) seen some sand bags out. Been some hail, lots of rain but mostly it's teh strong winds. Been warnings about keeping cats indoors - never seen that one before!
