I have never done this so ...
Aug. 25th, 2008 05:13 amMay I please recommend for those who want to read a story with a little different slant than the norm of vampire fiction..
"The Hunt" over at eles_cave. I'm a luddite so I don't know how to make that all linky.

Need to run away now as the students return to school tomorrow from summer break. Since I've been on Olympic time and grown fangs, or so my neighbors probably think, with my sleep schedule completely turned around..
Have already some sleep but bet that 2 hours more won't hurt if Morpheus will grace me with his love. Tomorrow will be a COFFEE and Advil day.

You know that you can see them on-line at the NBC site or you could. It's not as good as watching in what seems like live time but it is kinda still neat. I liked the Wrestler whose parents were not here legally and he brought home a medal. An American dream in more than one way.
You went back at the 7th? *shudders* Hopefully this means you get out way before our early June summer break date. Um, more time in the cool of a/c that you don't have to pay for.

Date: 2008-08-26 11:15 am (UTC)Squee for a new fic rec!
I'm at the other end of the spectrum when it comes to watching the Olympics... I saw one dressage ride during a lunch break, watched a single dive, part of a balance beam routine and almost an entire uneven parallel bars routine. Oh, and a hideously edited "highlights" piece allegedly covering another dressage ride. (The camera work was shameful! Clearly edited by people who had no idea of what they were looking at!)
*grumbles*
Yes, I am a curmudgeon.
*toddles off to read*
