That looks good, but every time I try to bake in the microwave, I end up with something the consistent of a rubber sponge.

Making a batch of cookie dough and only cooking a part of it... as long as no one came along and ate all the dough.

The brownie that I made in the microwave turned out well. It had many chocolate chips in it and I put a blob of ice cream on top of it while it was still hot. Divine.

Haven't tried this yet but meep did. I think that if your microwave is high on the watts that it might cook things faster than the time specified. *grasping at possible reasons*

I've found that freezing the cookie dough does not help save it. Someone slips in and eats it raw/frozen. Since there's only two of us in the house and my son doesn't like frozen cookie dough ... *nods* must be the neighbors.

I've only tried to 'bake' once in the microwave a chocolate pudding I made for Christmas I tried the left over mix and the texture just wasn't right.

This cookie worked well though.

UPDATE - I made one!

YUMMY quick easy warm chocolately fix.
Didn't have brown sugar so just doubled the white, added a little ground almond because I had some and added the flour by sight. Yum going to make hubby one now.

The egg seperating tec works. Theres a technique to it, I broke the first yoke, when its sucked up you need to let it slide deeper into the bottle I let air in to quick the first time.

*whines* I'm right here. You should be making it for me.

If all I'm going to use is the yolk... easiest to do and to clean up after, break open the egg shell and strain the yolk out through the cupped fingers of your hand. But isn't the bottle method fun.

Hubby didn't like it did he *grins* Almonds. oooooooh.

I will, but then I'll have to eat it because your 'here' and my 'here' are unfortunately too far apart!

I usully break the egg in half and use the shell to seperate, I just wanted to try the bottle method LOL its fun to try but can't see it becoming THE method for me.

Hated it so much he licked the dish ;)

Am now playing with the idea of taking the ingredients to work and making one for lunch there. We have a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffeemaker. We even have a sink with hose attachment which makes it super easy and not messy to fill the reservoir of the coffee maker.

LOL I was thinking the logics of taking a bit of dough to work too, but hte micro in work is an industry one v.high so not sure I could get it to work there.

Those of us who lie to ourselves about being on a diet and one cookie couldn't hurt much...
I like too that when the weather heats up, which isn't right now because we've another polar vortex thingy that's going to brush over us tonight, .... anyway, when it's hot and the A/c costs of cooling a house and you don't want to add to that... yeah microwave cookie. Did you notice the amount of time to 'bake' the cookie. Almost instant gratification.
