FB3X Drabble Cascade #39 - Bid

Drabble Cascade at FB3X - Every Tuesday

Title: Breaking the Bed In (PG, first time for the bed *snickers*)
Author: charisstoma
Word count: 100
Prompt: Bid
Originally this was: Breaking the Bed*grins*

“I can’t. I can’t anymore,” was gasped in time to the creaking of the bed.

“All most there, you can do it,” was huffed back in encouragement. Frankly, Frank didn’t know if he could, really, but he wasn’t going to tell that to Jamie.

“Frank please,” the syllables of the please were drawn out between caught in and gasped out breaths. “Can’t we stop just for a moment to rest?”

“Alright, an extra three pieces of that chocolate you love so well if you last 5 minutes more.”

“And your mouth,” panted Jamie, “for the next week .. mornings.”

“Deeeee-aall.”

Indeed, like hyphens make a difference:
cock-up for grand and glorious mistake.
Cock up for if you want your character supine.

What they (People from the U.S.) might make of Robert Burns' poem, which took the name of the old Scottish rhyme 'Cock up your beaver', is best left to the imagination.
