Blanc Mange or Argo Cornstarch Pudding

I've made the one from the box, it's what my family called Blanc Mange.
Used it to make Cherry Triffle.
Bisquick mix biscuits with cherry brandy sprinkled on top
Cornstarch pudding using almond extract instead of vanilla
cherry pie filling with cinnamon added
Layer while pudding is still hot and liquid.
Cornstarch Pudding (Vintage Vanilla Pudding) -- Argo Corn Starch site
Yield 3 cups
1 C sugar
3 T cornstarch
¼ t salt
2 C milk
2 egg yolks slightly beaten
1-½ t vanilla
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan.
Gradually stir in milk until smooth.
Add egg yolks.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour into serving bowl or individual containers. Cover with plastic wrap and chill at least
30 minutes.
Easy Vanilla Pudding ( from an old saved Argo Cornstarch box)
Mix
1/3 C sugar
¼ C corn starch
1/8 t salt
Stir in gradually 2-¾ C milk
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly and boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Stir in
2 T butter or margarine
1 t vanilla
Chill.
Makes 2 ½ C
