Am boggled

I work in a public school. Today, I coveted purses that some of the kids had with them. Name brand bags. Researched cost to maybe buy one. OMG. What parent has the money to buy a $200 and $1000 purse for their kid and then lets them take it to school? All I can say is that I have very good taste. I also would never spend that much. On. A.
