His fingers were clenched white in terror around the metal bars. Around him there were the screams of others which Did … Not … Help.

“Here hang onto me, it’ll be okay.” A hand was extended towards him and even in his panic Drew glared at the other, not a word needing to be said, Not that he could make a sound .

The cage swung around again along with all the other cages with their occupants screaming inside. ‘Why? Why had he stepped into this trap? And why had everyone else, were they ALL fools?’

Finally the ride ended.

YES! Another person who ... okay. Amusement parks are boring if you don't partake. I don't.
Did go through Magic Mountain in Disneyland. While noting that the inside of the mountain totally did away with the fantasy the exterior provided, I was too scared do anything but hold on to the bar... tightly. Luckily there was no time to be motion sick.
Disneyland also had these very nice gourmet kitchen toy shops and a fabric store that sold tartan material. The fireworks were nice.

Really don't like carnival rides. Being scared isn't fun when it's not fiction. I drew a lot from real life on this one.

I'm not bothered by rollercoasters, but I hate those drop from a great height things - my favourite ride is the teacup ride, I love spinning round and round :).

BUT, I can relate to your dislike of rides, because the one thing that gives me the heebie jeebies every time, to the point I can't even watch someone doing it on TV, is someone swinging on a swing - makes me nauseous, gives me butterflies, absolutely has my skin crawling - all down to a childhood accident. In fact, I have to stop typing now, because just thinking about it is making me uncomfortable :)
