“You remember what has to be done?” Calvin whispered. “ It’ll be alright.”
“Yes.” Kyle answered flatly “Why did you have to promise a fae lord anything?”
“It wasn’t my fault that he caught me picking moonbeams from the pond. The fae were supposed to be on the other side of the glen. Just drink the drink he gives you.”
“I remember.”
It was suppose to be simple, offer himself in place of Calvin and when the fae discovered that Kyle was part fae himself, they’d deem his offering useless. Only it didn’t work that way, and Calvin took photos.
