I wanted to title this after this bit of bad humor but thought I’d better not.

A tingling ran over his body as he attempted to wash the day’s sweat away. It had been hot work to backpack to this remote spot and the cool lake. Ryan glanced towards his clothing on the rocky water’s edge. Running through the forest bare ass naked, from whatever was out there sizing him up, was not a good idea in his opinion. Yet nothing but tree branches moved in the slight breeze as he came splashing to the shore.

The searchers found his clothes and an acorn, said to be a Fae Bride’s price, that summer on Fairy Lake.
