Broken, he was broken and he gagged at the thought of going back home where all he was was marriageable potential and a failed one at that. He’d liked the idea of being a King’s consort, alright concubine for now, but for all Macy’s ideas, Francis still resisted taking him to his bed. Frustrated, because how was he suppose to gain any experience if Francis wasn’t going to give him any; a King’s consort should be taken, at least his first time, by the King or his heir.
Macy huddled, choking on his tears, to be gathered into Francis’ arms.
