Jun. 12th, 2006 06:31 pmMy son has aspberger's syndrome and is taking a remedial class during the summer so he hopefully can pass the TAKS exam. Promp given for him to brain storm is: How important is the relationship between a father and mother to a family? Can he do this? After an hour asking him leading questions to spark some kind of response....ARGGGGGGGurgle.
Tried bird family=human family; what happens to the family if the father bird gets eaten by the neighborhood cat. I know he knows about birds but suddenly he has no knowlege. At least he wasn't still mumbling his replies.
Am so depressed and frustrated.
grrrrrrrr. He's not stupid. He aced the Science, Math, Social Studies. He just can't pass the written exam. *whimpers*
