Botched pizza delivery

Ordered pizza last night just before going off to work. Left check on door for son to give to driver and let the son know what all I'd arranged and got coherent replies. Have done this before. Son slept thru delivery. *face palm*
Went to pizza place to apologize. Tried to pay for the pizza and they wouldn't take the freaking check. Had to settle for forcing them to take at least the tip for the driver who tried to make the delivery. *heavy sigh*
And yes, son still lives but will be pizza free for a while.

Heh oops! It's nice that you at least tried to pay for it! I don't think I've ever heard of a pizza place taking checks. Pretty cool though. Is it a chain place?

It's a Pizza Hut and its right next door to my bank. They didn't use to take credit cards but that may have changed since last I asked a few years ago. LOL
