There's something okay when you step out of the building and within a minute or two you have that burning ache of water up your nose feeling. Allergy season, *shifty eyes* which is most of the year but more sometimes, is such a joy.
In other news the signs are up on all the exterior doors at school denying access to the building by visitors. We are in the week of the dreaded annual STAAR testing. Security is so tight it squeeks.

Date: 2012-04-26 05:06 am (UTC)The testing for me isn't that bad. I do still get some students that come in for books during the day. Most are the fluttering 'I have to have a book now to read after I finish the test' (they stay in place waiting for their fellow testers to finish). Could they have gotten a book the day before or even last week.. well yes but they have to have one NOW.
Tomorrow I'll actually have a class or three in the library. But in the mean time, I've found this lovely book on-line and been reading. *grins* Fossilized insects (the author took so long in teasingly revealing that)inside a meterorite at the north pole during an election year where the agency whose made the discovery is in danger of being cut out of the next federal budget if a certain person is voted into office. *takes breath* I'm working hard. *grins* and on something like page 154.
