Lightning and thunder were much nicer when I was a kid. No worries.

My school building is better than your school building.

The orchestra teacher opened his classroom door yesterday and found it like a storm had happened. Cellos knocked over and holes in the 20 foot high ceiling where the tiles use to be.
The ceiling leaked a cat. There was blood on a table and a keyboard, he’s got mice in there and there was recycled mice left on the floor. She pretty spry as she became ninja cat and climbed back up the wall into the suspended ceiling tiles. She can be anywhere in the school and she’s pregnant.
District has set live traps to catch her. She's not buying.

Update. They found her hunting in the room this morning. Orchestra will be in the Library again today.

Did I mention rain. Flooding and thunder and lightning. Oh My.

They caught the cat but not in the live trap. She was cornered and one of the teacher has a daughter who grabbed her by the scruff I'm assuming. She has a good record of socializing feral cats; so this cat will find a good home. Good things do happen. :D

Thank God that there weren't any Poodles in the ceiling. *grins*
Then it would have been raining cats and dogs. *snickers*
Weather is suppose to get better.

This is an apocalyptic image - a gaping hole in the ceiling, distressed cellos, blood, recycled mice (a memorable phrase) all to a background of thunder, lightening and floods. Exciting times.

Did the storm cause the hole in the ceiling and the cat came through or did the cat make the hole?

Hope there is no flooding where you live?

There was flooding in the area but not where I live or work. Further east was where the flooding occurred.

Gaping hole in the ceiling was from cat falling through. Ceiling tiles aren't made for felines walking on them. We still don't know how the cat got into the ceiling in the first place.

*grins* Recycled mice. That does sound like zombie mice *grins* but is more like owl pellets, that which the cat didn't Borg (assimilate).
