Unfortunately I can't find today's Scram-lets on-line to post the picture here. Scram-lets are 4 to 5 words where the letters have been rearranged. You are suppose to unscramble the letters to form the original words, place them in order and of the numbered positions in those words pick out the letters that are used to be unscrambled/rearranged for the word(s) answer to the puzzle's cartoon.
Today's cartoon answer was 'meaning' if you're curious but it's the meaning behind the cartoon that is interesting.

Two cavemen stand close to each other. One holds a club in his hand, wearing a spotted animal skin, and a half smile with a lazy eyed gaze fixed on the other caveman. He's handing an animal skin to his naked uncertain companion who discretely holds a large leaf strategically placed.

The clue under the cartoon is:
If women didn't exist, all the money in the world would have no ________.

Okay, clues to what the puzzle is really talking about: if women didn't exist,a naked caveman, and a club carrying clothed caveman. What have or will these two men be doing with each other in the future? *grins* mpreg obviously must be postulated.
How did they slip that one past the conservative one man/one woman relationship censors?

Am Amused.

Okay, big obvious sexist joke about how women are expensive shallow bitches, who spend all their husbands' money on clothes, illustrated by gay cavemen. And from the description, and indeed the whole 'no women in the world' scenario, it's pretty obvious they're gay cavemen.

And naturally, if there were no women in the world and yet we managed to get from cavemen to a money-based society, there has to have been mpreg involved. XD

Well done whoever was behind that, in Texas of all places. *applauds*

Barter is early money exchange. The animal skin clothing was being exchanged for something, unless it was being handed back to the naked caveman. That club was displayed upright in the first's other hand, so maybe the activity of creating mpreg hadn't commensed yet.

Will have to haunt the editorials to see if there's a hue and cry of outrage and over what, sexism or homophobia.

That seems extremely sexist, us women being only interested in money...

So without women to coax into putting out, men would have to ply other men with fancy furs while waving an upright club to show off their prowess?

'That's a nice large leaf you have there..'

YES!

Am resisting the plunny of 'That's a nice large leaf you have there..'

That club could be a metaphore for how big something else is.. or *coughs* over-compensation for what he doesn't have.

That club. So many meanings that could have. There's the dark one too, of 'slam, bam, thank you', in this case, man. Any time a club is used, it becomes non-con unless it's being done in jest and the other knows that.

In jest? As in a 'I'm going to bop you on the head, drag you to my cave and bang you so hard you'll not walk for a week make sweet, sweet love to you. For fun, ok? Now stand still a minute' *BOP!*

Am resisting the plunny of 'That's a nice large leaf you have there..'
Damn, I thought I was being so subtle!

'That's a nice big leaf you have there' *come hither look*
'That's a nice big, knobbly, upright, club you have there' *interest*
'Wanna come in my cave roll about on some furrs?' *leaning*
'Wanna prove to me that big club isn't all I'd be feeling?' *measuring look*

On the one hand - arugh. I'm so over unfunny cartoons of this sort that are supposed to make you laugh somehow. Bah.

On the other hand, I know Charis is going to make something awesome from this, and now I need to click the link... :D
