If you're pregnant in Texas, you can't get a divorce til after the baby is born. Better than in another state, think was a Carolina, there you have to wait til one year after the baby is born. Paternalism. Its not like you have to have been married to obtain child support, so it can't be for that reason. At least they can't regulate that you have to live with the other person during that time.
