Errol stretched and moaned. “Sometimes, it’s getting out of bed and doing more difficult tasks; like summoning a demon to help with the dishes or finding the right number of chicken bones to appease the thing in the attic.” He laughed, then stopped.

“Damn.” He’d forgotten the thing in the attic. “Please let the chicken bones be there still.”

He’d forgotten that important detail after the demon’s summoning. All the bitching about he only got summoned to do household chores. That had led to the demon meticulously cleaning Errol's ass out and then filling it through the wee hours as payment for services rendered. Obsessive demon who declared he wouldn’t stick it into a less that sparkly clean ass and there had been a demand that as a tip, Errol’s ass needed to be spanked to drive that point across.. before the fucking.

“You do know how to take care of yourself.” came the voice from the attic doorway.
“I’ll let this slide, this once. Your Service Demon gave me the chicken bones AND he brought a ham bone with him to share.” There was laughter from the attic. “He thought it only fair since he was boning you. And he left his summoning number that I am supposed to keep handy for next time. I think you’ve earned yourself a reputation. That’s the fifth demons' summoning number I’ve been given.”
There was a pause of considering, “I like ham bones.”

It was supposed to be a lark, go proposition the Tom in public during the Zoo’s open hours. He should not have gotten in with that crowd, really he shouldn’t. But he was frustrated. The Zoo had a morality issue, no sex while the visitors were about. So the genders were kept separate during the day between 9 to 4, and it was damn frustrating if you were into mixed gender sex. He smirked.

Phasian had read about a condition in an occasional peafowl, a peahen changes to a peacock. Something about a form of bilateral gynandromorphism. Once Grown, during the day he’d ‘played’ with the peahens and at night when the peacock was allowed in. He’d enjoyed the peacock’s attentions. Came as quite a surprise to the peacock when Phasian’s true gender presented. Almost as surprising as the first time he changed into his human form and back.

The tom turkey was big. Phasian blamed it on his early experiences but there was something about a big male that set him off. So perhaps the lark wasn’t due to the crowd he’d kept. Mel was one big, good looking turkey and for whatever the reason there weren’t any other turkeys kept at the zoo.

The propositioning of the Tom should be easy and maybe Phasian would get some later after a day’s worth of spreading his tail for him. That was his plan anyway.

Almost he was embarrassed at first. Opening his tail, Phasian shivered his feathers at his target and after a slight glance the turkey turned away appearing unimpressed. Well, no one said it would be easy. Throughout the day Phasian shivered his raised tail again and again but Mel turned aside each time. Finally the zoo closed and after everyone was settled one of the keepers called out, “Night, Mel. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” A large bulk of a human appeared from a building in the poultry area and waved him off with a laugh.

“You. Here,” the human said and tossed a blanket at Phasian. “You’ve been teasing me all day. Change. And let’s talk about today. I know your history. If you’re really interested then I’m the Tom and you’re the hen.”

Phasian blushed and grabbed up the blanket as he changed, covering pertinent perking up parts.
“But you ignored me all day.”

“Humans. People like you and me stay in avian character while they’re around. After hours …” he shrugged. “Are you interested in following up on your teasing, otherwise during the day cut it out. You look silly propositioning out of your species and it could embarrassment to the zoo.”

“I’m interested.” Phasian answered, then quickly, “but only in the receiving position. And that’s all been only as a hen.”

“Good,” Mel grinned. “Humans have many ways to mate and it will be my pleasure to teach them all to you.”

“Mommy. That peacock seems really sleepy.”

“He probably stayed up past his bedtime and needs a nap. Look, his friend the Tom Turkey is watching over him.”

The next year there was a new addition at the zoo, a turkey-peacock hybrid.
Zoo officials had known turkeys could hybridize with pheasants and peacocks can hybridize with chickens. A supposed Turkey x Pheasant hybrid had been reported in 1761.
Their peacock who’d started off as a peahen evidently was able to be fertilized by their tom turkey. The parents were proud, the chick cute as all baby animals are.
