The flame burned, fat and golden white; its body undulating upon the wick at every stray waft of air. Like the flame, so too moved the two bodies that its light shone upon. It’s light liming the figures upon the bed in its glow.
Muscles bunching, one body thrust forward with a graceful arching of spine before pulling back only to return on another inward surge. Below him, the body rose to receive each thrust; fingers clutching, digging and massaging the ass of his lover. Breathy moans stirred the air and the candle’s flame danced with and upon their passion.

Archaic Words

Today we had students in the Library finding articles on their year-long project. One student had an archaic word come up and bite her in the title of her article. Whither.
I was delighted and cackled with glee. This disturbed the student ever so slightly *GRINS* Maybe it was that I kept repeating whither.

Naomi Kizhner, an industrial designer and graduate student from Hadassah College in Jerusalem, has designed jewelry that theoretically extracts energy from the wearers own body. The ‘speculative’ jewelry is embedded into the person's veins and uses their blood to turn small wheels inside the device.
"The work delves into a world in which there is a significant decline, which forces humanity to seek all the more forcefully for alternative ways of cultivating power. The suggested solution to the dilemma is based on the idea of biological wealth, harvesting energy directly from the body.”
