While the dsl lets me
Oct. 21st, 2009 06:09 pmI have my van back. *SMILES*
This is a good thing because a PT cruser does not have a high clearance and it is raining such that one needs an ARK with heavy duty windshield wipers.
Along with the crack in the windshield and the floppy mud strip under the front bumper I found something else that needs repair. Couldn't get the wipers to turn on. This is kind of necessary when it's raining hard. Felt like Alice in Wonderland when I noticed the little label that says pull forward on the windshield wiper control. Pulled it forward and turned the wipers on and eureka they turned on fast which was fine because that is what was called for. Delivered child to his campus.
Got home and couldn't turn off the wipers so turned off car. They stopped but I'd left the car in drive changed that to park. It was good.
Got to my school later and parked the car and again tried to turn off the wipers. Nope. So turned off car. Watched wipers continue to wipe. Turned car back on. Put it in drive with brake on and turned off car. Wipers stopped. This is fine as long as there is rain but the rain is suppose to stop tonight. *sigh*
Was very happy when they called to tell me the van was ready. Told the very nice man who lent me the car for free, that I loved him. I'm easy that way.
Did clue him in on the problems with the car.
