So.
The world is a strange place.
I know that this is no surprise to many of you but it's a very odd place.

My debit card expires the end of this month. An automatic payment was suppose to go in sometime around now and because of the holiday I checked to see if it was in yet. Normally I can check the account on-line. It's fast, impersonal, and service time independent. Got a 'can't process this at this time' from the site when I tried to log-in. Called. The card will still work (JOY) but on-line log-on will not be available until the card they mailed TODAY gets to me.

Amazon.com where I looked up a book reference is running slow. So is another place I had to call today referencing money. (don't ask unless you won the lottery and are tired of having it clutter up your life, then call me). I changed,by neccesity, one after another, 99 tags on a community site last night(early this morning- too early, don't ask). I think I might be responsible for computer systems crashing nation wide because of that, Lj runs the world doesn't it.

I've recently written a sweet non-porn drabble that many liked. I've written a terrible dub-con drabble. The municipal tap water no longer tastes of algae and maybe we won't need to buy drinking water.
The World is a very odd place right now/ coming to an end OR I need more sleep and the allergy pills need to kick in NOW!

I have been told that there is a world outside of Lj. There are even long stretches of time where I think I have proof.

Your very storm is totally understandable. I read your post about how much sleep you've had or rather haven't had. Tag changes aren't all that different from what I have to do at school on the circulation cataloge to differentiate one school from the other. We use to be able to filter students using 3 criteria and have those three layer. New program let's us choose one filter and only one. I have to hand select and tag students to create the filter for the Middle School students. Usually I have days to work on it. So other than being loopy from allergies and lack of sleep, the re-naming of tags was .. okay AAAaaaack.

Hope your card/online gets sorted that must be frustrating. Really glad the water is drinkable that sounds horrid.

Ooooh comfy couch *said in soft awed voice* It's a quiet place, restful even. *grins*
I must be in shock as I have a blanky. Actually you make it sound wonderful and I would but the drive back and forth would be prohibitive with the cost of gasoline. I hear that gas prices in Europe are higher than here. How do you manage and eat or not freeze to death in the winter?

We manage because we do most things by bike ^_^ There's even people who don't believe we even have a car *grin*

I like tea and cocoa. cocoa should have ice cream in it, floating around melting, and if you could disolve the cocoa with coffee with milk added and almond extract. *whines*

*laughing* Texas is like the capitol of Ice Tea *shifty eyes* though there are those who will challenge that in other southern states. I didn't use to like tea or coffee for that matter. Think I might have become an adult while I wasn't looking.

*purrs* Think I'll go to bed now. After Care is up now. Hopefully you'll like Aylin a little better, at least a bit.

Thank you! Loved After Care, although it only fed my taste for more (of course) ^_^ It was almost too sweet to be believable for a dark fae, but I figured Aylin had a self serving reason for his sweetness. Hopefully Ennis will be able to overcome his fear of sex and become the lustful slave Aylin desires *waggles eyebrows*

So...if the water doesn't taste like algae...what are they putting in the water? O.o;;

When I lived in Wisconsin the water came from deep limestone wells and was clear, cold, and delicious. Here the water comes from a lake where people fish, swim, drown, you know all the usual things. We've had a lot of rain in comparison to last few years and the water levels must still be high or they've figured out how to get the algae taste out of it. It tastes as good as the bottled water.
