“Billie.”

A shocked face turned towards Geoff wailing, “NO, not Billie?!”

“Afraid so, remember that hail storm that killed off all the garden except for the ‘Burpee guarranteed to win prizes Giant Cucumber’.” At the nod, “Billie ate it. Only right that we should eat Billie.”

“But that’s ‘Billie‘! He’s a member of the family, even if he was a goat.”

“I eat you every Saturday, twice on Sunday, and at least once during the week. I don’t see you complaining about that.”

“That’s different. I can regenerate, I’m a god.”

“Yes, dear.”

*laughter* I can see why you'd think Billie was a kid (*snickers*) considering my current macabre writing.
The nice thing about that ending, it could be cannibalism (eww)/communion wafer-ing or talking about his um recuperative powers that don't owe anything to Viagra per him. I love the duality of that and of course the "Yes, dear" response.

*Laughs* Actually no. I wrote to the prompts for an initial longer story than this but then wrote another short drabble composed of only 100 words for the 100-Word War community. Think I've only written those two total with cukes in them.. my brain is fried I was writing so many drabbles as fast as my brain could put something together. There's an eerie calm inside my head right now. For a while my brain was like your icon here. Herding cats/story ideas.
